Dr. Sigrid Mehring-Zier, LL.M. has worked as a lawyer since 2020, in August 2024 she joined the team at schilling tute.

Previously, she worked in renowned Frankfurt law firms with a focus on white-collar and criminal tax law and, amongst other things, was involved in extensive internal investigations.

Before training as a German lawyer, she studied Dutch law in Amsterdam and obtained her LL.M., completed her doctorate at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg on a topic related to international criminal law and worked as a consultant for the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). During her legal clerkship, she worked in a criminal law firm in Frankfurt and at the Federal Ministry of Defense in Berlin.

She advises and represents individuals and companies in all areas of white-collar and criminal tax law. Furthermore, she is experienced in proceedings regarding international criminal law.

In addition to her legal practice, she regularly contributes to domestic and international legal publications regarding white-collar and international criminal law.
